Summertime Pics, Chili's, and Pooltime!!

Well it's been awhile since i've blogged. Madison is officially 25 mth's old and now is stringing 3-4 words together at a time! She has recently completed swimming lessons at the YMCA in Collierville, and it's safe to say, she is NOT afraid of the water at all. It's very convenient that both Grandy & Pop and Poppy & Vic-Vic both have pools! She get's lots of practice.

Everything else is going good. She is enrolled at the same place for Mother's Day Out next year, but for two days aweek this year. She continues to amaze me with her memory, and how smart she is. She pretty much now remembers everyone she is in contact with on a consistent basis. She definately relates certain things to certain people! IE (Poppa = Sweets & Candy, Kim = Pizza, Carrie = Roscoe)

We had a blast for Father's Day. We were invited to Carrie's birthday party, and we really had a blast. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my 3rd father's day, than with my lil' redhead, and my closest friends. Pretty hard to beat BBQ and pool time :)

That's about I've got. Hope everyone had as good of Father's day as I did! OH Yeah, and almost forgot....A big props and shout out to all the people who made my 29.1 birthday (30th) a great one. My Mom & David had me a great pool party, and Kim and Carrie threw me a great b-day cookout on Tuesday. Thanks to everyone for making me feel special on my big-day!!

Well, a big thank you to all that shared in Madison's special day! I think the day turned out perfect and we had a huge crowd (close to 40 people), and most of all, Madison really enjoyed herself!!

Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers today! I got the honor of spending today and last night with mine, and am I am so blessed to have such a special person in my life! I love you Mom :)

Madison and I went to visit Scarlet this afternoon when we got back from Ripley. We had her a yellow rose, and Madison could not wait to give it to her. First thing she did when we got there today, was let Scarlet smell it! She kept holding it down by her picture, and finally I had to take it from her before she ruined it. It broke my heart to see her kiss Scarlet's picture when we left today. I know she was watching down on us, and know she had to have smiled when that happened. We miss you Car Car, and know you would be a proud Mother today if you could see this little girl of ours. She's pretty special :)

Big Brown, Sunday Funday, and More Ducks!

Madison and I had a pretty busy weekend. Friday night, we went to a baby shower at my boss's house for a co-worker. She had a big time trying to keep up with the older kiddo's. She was wore out by the time we made it home. Saturday, she spent the afternoon with Poppa A, and they bought a big brown horse in honor of the Derby winner. Sunday, we went to Shelby Farms and then to Cameron Brown. Just another stressful day in the life of Madison Grace....lol!
