Catfish, 4-wheelers, and a trip Home!

Last weekend we enjoyed a really relaxing weekend at Grandy and Pop's. We left after work on Friday, and stayed until mid-Sunday afternoon. Saturday was an action packed day that included lots of fresh air and playing outside. Madison helped me wash my nasty car in the shop, while Reagan helped Grandy and Pop put the top on the pool. We all enjoyed a nice 4-wheeler ride and also got to go feed the fish (which the kiddos loved).

All in all, a great weekend!! Thanks to Grandy and Pop for letting us have some adult time on Saturday night, and it was very much enjoyed.

Enjoy the pics....JA

Special Moment this morning

Just wanted to share with everyone a special moment this morning that really made me tear up on the way to work this morning.

We were on our way to Mimi's this morning and I looked back in my rearview mirror and I saw her just staring out the window at the sky and being really quiet (which in itself is a rarity). I asked her what she was doing, and she just started nodding her head and told me "Mommy is watching me Daddy!!"

Didn't know much more to say other than "Wow!"

Witches, Penquins, and Halloween Treats!

Well our night was quite the adventure. It started pretty early before the sun went down. We visited Aunt Carrie for some Halloween treats. Carrie had made them some Dirt Cake with their own Tombstones (Cookies) with their name on it. We were quickly joined by Aunt Kimmie and Aunt Katie for some fresh baked homeade cookies!! They had a few photo shots with the Divas and then we were off to Collierville to some friends of Jen's.

The party went good, and the kiddos got to play with some other kids. They enjoyed this, but as anyone with 2 year olds know, it didn't last too much past 7:30. We loaded up after filling them with hotdogs and of course chocolate. By the time we got back to the house, both Madison and Reagan were fussy and ready for bathtime and bed.

Enjoy the pics of my lil' witch and penquin. Hope everyone had a good evening!
