Madison had a great Birthday Party, and I bet we maxed out on around 40 people at peak time. She got loads of great gifts, and was overwhelmed to say the least. I got her a "big-girl" bike as she likes to call it, and she has already about rode the wheels off of it! It was a very wet and muddy day at Howard/McVay Park, but the turnout was still tremendous (considering!).
Mother's Day was a sad day for me. It still breaks my heart that Madison only got so spend a few month's with Scarlet. Scarlet was a smart, funny, and incredible person to be around, and it hurts me that Madison will not get to truely see how great of a mother/wife/best friend Scarlet was! We had a great visit Mother's Day with Scarlet. Madison really did not want to let the balloon go, but when I told her Mommy would catch it, she released it immediately. We watched it sail away, and she kept repeating, "Mommy will catch it for us Daddy!" Sooooo Sweet :)
I would like to wish a Happy Belated Mother's Day to all you Mom's out there! I know we don't tell you near enough how special you are, and how much you are appreciated and respected! Love to all Moms!
